The Feast of St.Joan of Arc

Five hundred and eighty-eight years ago today, a brave young maiden named Jeanne was burned to death in Rouen, France.

I have a special devotion to La Pucelle d’Orleans and would like to take this opportunity to invite you to read about her and reflect on her life and what she accomplished. A bare slip of a nineteen-year old girl, Jeanne d’Arc accomplished the miraculous in several arenas of her brief life.

May Almighty God grant us the grace to examine our lives and to search our own hearts to discover how we are using this so-brief sojourn.
