Angel’s Sunday On A Friday

As I’m still feeling low, waiting for the antibiotics to kick in, and not much inclined to dabble in creative work, I thought I’d take the easy way out. And yes, I strongly resisted taking antibiotics, but things are still going downhill for this mortal frame.

The easy way for me means linking to a piece of music. This is one of my favorites by the great Jim Ed Brown. A personal aside…my family actually knew Jim Ed. I can’t recall just how they knew him, but my sister reminded me of this some years ago, and as soon as she mentioned it, I recalled with great clarity sitting in a little coffee shop in my hometown with my mother and my aunt, and Jim Ed came in and sat in our booth with us.

Anyway, they don’t make ’em like this anymore. Enjoy.
